Our Story

Maia Farms began with a challenge, creating sustainable, nutrient-rich food for space. When the Canadian Space Agency and NASA launched the Deep Space Food Challenge, we developed a mycelium-based protein system built for extreme environments. After rigorous testing, we won and now, we're bringing that breakthrough back to Earth. Our technology isn’t just built for space. It’s here to transform the future of food on this planet.
